1. Introduction
These Employer and Recruiter Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of jobs.asgard.world ("Platform") operated by asgard.world Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") as an employer, recruiter, or hiring organization.
By using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, End User License Agreement (EULA), Acceptable Use Policy, and Community Standards.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility and Employer Warranties
You must:
- Be authorized to represent a legitimate, lawfully operating organization.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your company.
- Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
- Promptly update any inaccurate information.
You warrant that your organization and use of the Platform:
- Comply with all applicable employment, labor, advertising, and anti-discrimination laws.
- Do not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights of any person or entity.
- Do not misrepresent the nature of any employment opportunity.
We reserve the right to request documentation to verify your identity, authority, or business legitimacy at any time.
3. Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
You must not allow others to use your account or share access credentials.
4. Job Posting Requirements
Job and gig listings must:
- Be truthful, clear, and compliant with applicable laws.
- Include all legally required disclosures (e.g., wage transparency where required).
- Accurately describe duties, qualifications, compensation, and working conditions.
- Prohibit unlawful practices (e.g., discrimination, unpaid internships unless legally compliant).
5. Prohibited Listings
You may not post jobs involving:
- Multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes.
- "Work from home" scams or unrealistic earning claims.
- Adult entertainment services.
- Unpaid internships unless legally permitted and properly disclosed.
- Cryptocurrency-based compensation unless lawful under applicable financial laws.
We reserve the right to remove prohibited listings without notice.
6. Use of Candidate Data
You may use candidate data solely to evaluate and communicate with candidates regarding employment opportunities you post.
You must not:
- Sell, share, lease, or create databases from candidate data.
- Use applicant data for marketing, profiling, or unrelated solicitations without opt-in consent.
- Retain candidate data longer than necessary for hiring purposes unless otherwise legally authorized.
You are responsible for complying with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws.
7. AI Tools Disclaimer
AI-driven insights (e.g., candidate ranking, resume screening) are provided for informational purposes only.
You must not make employment decisions based solely on AI outputs.
You are responsible for verifying all AI-assisted information and ensuring fair, unbiased treatment of candidates.
8. Premium Features and Subscription Billing
Certain services require a paid subscription.
By subscribing:
- You authorize recurring billing until cancellation.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable after payment.
- Cancellations apply to the next billing cycle only.
9. No Guarantee of Hiring Success
jobs.asgard.world does not guarantee:
- The quantity or quality of candidate applications.
- That any candidate will meet your needs.
- That any job offer will be accepted.
You use the Platform at your own risk.
10. Accessibility
We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for users with disabilities in accordance with applicable laws.
Please contact us if you encounter barriers to access.
11. Beta Features
Beta features are experimental and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
They are provided "as-is" without warranties.
12. International Compliance
If you recruit internationally, you are solely responsible for compliance with local labor, immigration, privacy, tax, and employment laws.
jobs.asgard.world makes no representation of legal compliance outside the UK.
13. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Platform may incorporate third-party APIs or services.
We do not control or endorse third-party providers and disclaim liability for their products, services, or practices.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
14. Platform Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in the Platform, including trademarks, content, and technology, are owned by Asgard.World Ltd or properly licensed.
You are granted no ownership rights by using the Platform.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Asgard.World Ltd, its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
- Your job postings,
- Your use or misuse of candidate data,
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claims related to your use of the Platform is limited to £500.
- We are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
17. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account:
- For any violation of these Terms.
- If fraud, abuse, or illegal conduct is suspected.
- If instructed by law enforcement or regulators.
We may also investigate your account proactively if there is suspected abuse, without needing a user complaint.
18. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, labor strikes, or government actions.
19. Data Use and Privacy
Our collection, storage, and use of data are governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices.
19A. Data Sharing Within Asgard.World Services
jobs.asgard.world is part of the asgard.world group of services.
By using the Platform, you agree that your data may be shared internally within Asgard.World Ltd’s affiliated services to enhance your experience and for cross-platform functionality, subject to our Privacy Policy.
20. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally through good-faith negotiations.
If unresolved after thirty (30) days, claims may proceed to the courts.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts located in London, England have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes.
22. Severability
If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections shall continue in full force and effect.
23. No Waiver
Failure by asgard.world Ltd to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision unless acknowledged in writing.
